Pixie Miller, a scared and shy 13-year-old, comes to Magic Hall. At this mysterious school, all the pupils are shut away from the world - at least that's what people say. The students apparently learn to control their magic, but strangely still learn some too. She isn't sure that she will fit in - Pixie thinks that her magical abilities are rather small and babyish.
