Welcome to Seabrook. We're a perfectly planned community. We all have perfect homes. Perfect clothes. The perfect life. Yep, everything is perfect. Until it wasn't. Who would have thought that an accident involving lime soda would set off the apocalypse? And when the contaminated green haze blew west, people were not happy. Because it turned them into... Zombies. That's right. Zombies! Brain-eating... Zombies. Dark and gory times. But we built a big barrier to protect us from the zombie hordes. Safe at last, Seabrook could finally get back to our perfect lives. Well, a lot has changed since they built the barrier 50 years ago. Science found a much better way to deal with zombies. And you know what happened to those old brain-eating monsters? Well, they still have to live on their side of the barrier, but now they're awesome!

Oh hey there, guys, girls and...*deep gulp* Z-zombies. I'm Vic, short for Vicente old fashioned name for a boy I know, my parents are kinda hippies. Anyway. I'm just an average person your typical comic book geek/otaku and not so popular with the in crowd, a.k.a a regret in the social society, but I'm not that ordinary, you see, I have an alternate persona, a secret one at that, to most students at school you might know me as that dude in the shrimp suit, of course somebody's gotta get in there, your probably wondering why of all people someone like me is telling you this story. 50 years ago the zombie apocalypse started because of a soda spill and humans did everything they could to keep zombies out, but if i you told that their living with humans now and going to Seabrook High like normal kids you'd think I was bitten and gone crazy. Well that's not the case, they are coming and they will be going to school like regular students, I mean their just like us only somewhat sickly looking...and post decaying and possibly able to eat anyone in sight... Ok maybe I have more to be worried about than just keeping my secret identity in a shrimp costume this year.

Hardin and Tessa are now parents to a beautiful, 5 year old, girl named Emery. In this book, it explains their lives in between the time when they moved in together in New York to having 2 kids ages 16 and 10 (I think that is what Auden's age was. It wasn't really clear on that). Maybe this should just be a oneshot kinda thing.
