It's been many years since Jim defeated Gunmar, defeated Morgana. Everyone he knew and loved were gone. Everyone... Except him. Half troll, half human, he wanders alone, protecting trollkind from the paranoid eyes of humans as the Trollhunter. But fate had something else in store for Jim. Another halfling troll appears out of nowhere, beaten half to death. She knows something that he does not, something that could change the world, but the troll girl refuses to speak of it. Read as the Trollhunter relived the 'glorious' adventures of the past, to reshape the future.

AU where the showdown between Jim and Nomura occurs WAY LATER in the season, long after Claire knows about the trolls, and Jim is known as a serious danger to the Dark Ones. What if Claire and Toby hadn't arrived on time, and Bular and the Impure had gotten Jim. And what if they realized that they needed Jim to put the amulet in Killahead of his own will. in honor of pride month this is just an au where Aaarrrgghh and Blinky are in a platonic (meaning only hugs and a label) relationship. Aaarrrgghh has a kid named Coh that he rescued and adopted before Kanjigar was felled (killed). Coh is a troll welp that is about 4 years old and always carries a cuddly teddy bear.🧸 Nothing from the 3 series or movie is in order and most of it is not in this fanfiction. I only own the story and the OC's) It's been 19 years since Jim and Claire(Along with the rest of the trolls) left Arcadia, their hometown. 19 years had passed since Gunmar and Morgana has been killed. 19 years had passed since all the events had happened and Arcadia is taking the rest from magic, trolls, wizards, etc. and peace is finally committed over the town...or is it? 2 months ago up to the present time, residents of Arcadia have gone missing day after day. Broken roads and damaged buildings could be seen all over the place. The question is what or who is responsible for this destructions that is found in Arcadia? It is up to the next, not Trollhunter, but Trollhunters to figure out this mysteries and stop it before it's too late. Will they'll be able to stop this new threat and save Arcadia once and for all? Or will they yield and waste the things that the former heroes did just for the sake to see another tomorrow?

I'm nothing special, of this I'm sure. I'm a common man with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough...

Jim has a flash back of his 5th birthday and when his dad left him and isn't focus through the day, encounters someone at his school. Jim keeps acting weird and his friends Claire and Toby start to worry about Jim, Then they learn why Jim's father is really here for. In the story Aaarrrgghh doesn't die, they killed Angor Rot and Jim doesn't go in the darklands
