Anthony Mcpartlin is bored with it all-with school, with his football club, and even with his one true passion: playing guitar. Until the day he finds his favorite hidden napping spot occupied by a strange boy cradling a broken-stringed guitar. This boys name was Declan Donnelly. At first, Anthony is nonplussed by Declan and his slightly odd behavior, but reluctantly keeps him around, forming a peculiar bond as they grow closer. This story is inspired by the anime/manga "Given"

The breakup between Clare Buckfield and Declan Donnelly did not end well in Clare's eyes after they had their last "heart-to-heart" reunion. Clare discovered she was pregnant a month after that but did not tell Dec until she gave birth to a beautiful little girl called Danielle. She was mad at him for leaving her so heartbroken so told him that he could not tell anybody about her daughter or else would take her away. Dec was really frustrated and scared because he didn't want lose his starlight as he called her but he was struggling to keep the secret. He had told his best friend Ant about her, he could not deal with the frustration too long so when Clare found out she took a 4 year old Danielle to the USA. Nobody apart from Ali and Ant knew about Danielle and it broke Dec's heart that he couldn't see his starlight, they would talk on the phone before Declan went to bed and Clare would sent pictures but nothing more. Now Danielle is 14 years old and missing her dad, being apart is making both of them miserable but hopefully destiny will find a way to reunite them.

After the end of Britains Got Talent 2018, all Dec wanted to do was go home- but everyone else seemed to have a different plan.

Ant McPartlin, Declan Donnelly and Cat Deeley played the three main roles in a Friends parody called Chums. In the spoof's finale they finally scripted a kiss for Dec and Cat after all the snog interruptions they had. But not everyone was happy with that particular scene.
