Aaliyah was an inspiring young artist to r&b & hip hop and show the world that she is more than a singer, dancer, and actress. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash along with 8 others after shooting a music video in the Bahamas. This book tells a whole story of Aaliyah career turns into a tragedy. Her legacy will live forever.

Jaliyah Nycole Robinson is a 15 year old sophomore at Compton High. Her brother Xavier is a 18 year old who had a nice job as a producer but got fired due to moving. Her sister Alicya is a 16 year old who loves fashion,she wanted to work in Spain but she wasn't able to. They all live in Madrid,Spain but their mother decides to move to Compton,CA for financial reasons. She's been friends with Taylor,Janelle,and Shawna since kindergarten. She loves music and N.W.A but her mom doesn't approve of their music. She's been a fan of N.W.A for a long time but one day everything in her life will change when she goes to their concert. Will she be able to go to the concert? Will she fall in love with E? Will her heart belong to Eazy or someone else? You'll find out later.
