Savannah Brooks is a 16 year old snowboarder who is training for the Olympics. She trains at a snowboarding facility in Colorado. She's good friends with Kaylie Cruze, who is a gymnast that trains at the Rock. (If you've ever watched ABC Family/Freeform's show, "Make It or Break It", this fic is an interconnected fic. It takes place in the same universe and place, just focuses on snowboarding.

Charlie Bennett is a single mom and also a widower but she has to transfer to La for a new department. Tim Bradford is the grumpy sergeant in the department but when Charlie came he became less grumpy and smiled a lot when Charlie is around but one thing that is against the rule in their department is that the sergeants can't date anyone in the department. Charlie might lose her job when she does this but she knows that she can fight it when she fighting the company policies.
