He had a job to do and he was determined to complete it, because truth told; he wanted out of the assassin's life and when his boss offered him a ticket to normalcy; Harry jumped at the chance to take it. Kidnapping her was relatively easy. The events to follow after were turmoil he hadn't accounted for and it could very well throw Harry's whole operation to hell.
