Commander Hawthorne cocked his head lightly in her direction. Astoria reached into her pocket and pulled out a small vial that was filled with a clear liquid. “Acta est fabula.” She raised the vial. “Excuse me?” Commander Hawthorne strode a few steps toward her. “The play is over,” Astoria whispered and closed her eyes.

Its not like i'm complaining. I know there are people with cancer who are knocking on deaths door and have it far worse than I do. This is another story in my series about a sort-of-kind-of quirky tween who escapes from her troubles by writing about it. As in my first book, each chapter is accompanied by a song that I see fit.
