What happens when your best friend marries the love of your life?
Maya Sharma loved Aarav Malhotra since the first day of college-his laugh, his dreams, his everything. But Aarav only had eyes for her best friend, Naina.
"Aarav, tumhe pata bhi hai ki main tumhare liye kya mehsoos karti hoon?"
("Aarav, do you even know what I feel for you?")
But she never said these words aloud.
When Aarav and Naina's wedding invitation arrived, Maya smiled through her tears and left the country, choosing her heartbreak over their happiness.
"Main nahin reh sakti yahaan... main nahin dekh sakti unhe saath."
("I can't stay here... I can't see them together.")
Five years later, a call shatters her new life:
"Naina nahin rahi... delivery ke waqt... baby girl bach gayi hai."
("Naina is no more... during delivery... the baby girl survived.")
Maya returns-not for Aarav, but for the baby who needs a mother. But living under the same roof with the man she never stopped loving, watching him grieve the woman he chose, breaks her all over again.
"Tum kabhi mujhe nahi dekh paoge Aarav... kyunki tumhari aankhon mein abhi bhi sirf Naina hai."
("You'll never see me, Aarav... because your eyes still only hold Naina.")
But as Aarav watches Maya care for his daughter with unconditional love, as he reads the college diary Naina left behind, he discovers a truth that changes everything:
"Tumne mujhe itne saalon se chaha... aur main andha tha?"
("You loved me for so many years... and I was blind?")
Can love bloom in the ruins of grief?
Can Maya trust the man who once broke her heart?
Can Aarav prove that sometimes, the right person was there all along?
