"To travel is to live." ― Hans Christian Andersen, The Fairy Tale of My Life: An Autobiography Born from a childhood dream, Dreaming Across Australia is a serialized travelogue that follows a three-month journey across the vastness of Australia - a continent explored not just by distance, but by experience. From the raw stillness of the outback to vibrant cities, from encounters with wildlife to moments of quiet awe in some of the world's most stunning natural landscapes, the journey unfolds as both an adventure and a personal exploration. Rather than offering practical advice or guidance, this book captures impressions: the feeling of endless roads, the pulse of everyday city life, the beauty and fragility of nature, and reflections on culture, identity and social issues encountered along the way. Each place leaves its mark - sometimes breathtaking, sometimes unsettling, but always thought-provoking. Written for those who dream of Australia, whether they may never go or are only beginning to imagine the journey, Dreaming Across Australia invites readers to travel through words, imagination and experience, aiming to inspire curiosity, empathy and a deeper sense of connection to a land as enchanting and complex as it is vast.

Tally Murdo has spent her entire life caring for wolves on her family's wolf sanctuary. Teased for her passion, Tally is an outcast at school until newcomer Alex Thorn arrives. Fearing rejection because of his past, Alex denies their bond and keeps Tally at arm's length until his presence starts to stir something feral inside of her. When the citizens of Astoria decide that their forests should be wolf-free, a string of disappearances occur and Tally begins to realize that something far more sinister than wolf poaching is happening in her town. Together, Tally and Alex must fight to save their forests, their pack, and each other. *** This is an excerpt only as the rights to this story has been bought by Inkitt for their new reading app, Galatea! A Fan Fiction Novel Based on Twilight. Life. Life is like a book. Fools would choose to flip over it, skip the boring parts and go straight to the important parts. Smarter people would read every single word, the publisher, barcode, summary. They would read it carefully, think through every single word. On the other hand, I could read my book over and over, more than a million times. Part One narrated by Nirene, a 417 year old, bloodsucking vampire. Part Two narrated by Jane of the Volturi Clan.

This story is a stand-alone prequel to my first novel 'Songlines' which is due to be published by Odyssey Books 20th August 2016. At the age of twelve, Lainie Gracewood craves adventure and intrigue, but what are the chances of finding that on a sheep farm near the border of South Australia? Her best friend, Noah, seems to be content with tinkering with his dirt bike and avoiding homework, but when Lainie stumbles across an old newspaper clipping, they can't help but imagine that there just might be something still hidden out in the bush. Noah, typically, manages to spring from one mishap to the next, and when he becomes lost out in the storm, Lainie discovers a talent she didn't know she had.

What just happened?" I ask aloud, shaking my head to dispel the fog clouding it. "Pa?" "Honey!" I called out for my husband. "Paaaa!" I shouted, my voice slicing through the stillness, desperation lacing each syllable. Silence hung in the air, a heavy blanket that muffled the echoes of mundane chores and chatter. A lingering sense of confusion settled in... Wait, where did everyone go? Helloooo! As I rose unsteadily and swept my gaze across the landscape, a chill crept up my spine. Instead of the garden I had imagined myself to be, I found an alien environment that sent my heart racing! I stood right there, shadows lingering around me, as if the world had forgotten to move on without me. A distant animal cry echoes, a reminder that nature thrives in its rawest form. Here, the world feels alive, unrestrained, and fierce. Every rustle of leaves and distant call of a creature echo the raw beauty of a wilderness, shaking me to my core. How the f*ck did I get here? I never left. I was in the same place, but somewhere in another era, at another time.. Enchantment, mysticism, and wonder all come together. Step into a world where the boundaries of the real and the imagined blur as the fabric of time and space intertwine. The Myth of Ayu Indah is about an Aboriginal beauty and her struggles to belong in ancient times; and the other, a contemporary woman who appears to have lost her enchantment while adjusting to life in the country following a recent move. Both are seeking fulfillment in life. Transported to a bygone age through a dream journey that crossed time, where the protagonist unearthed hidden truths that led to her transformative journey of self-discovery. In the end, they both realized that the capacity-the power-to uncover the enduring, awe-inspiring beauty of simply existing and being loved lies within them all along.
