This poem has to do with the legacy of residential schools and prejudice towards first nations peoples from Christian groups in Canada. Although it no longer lingers so strongly in the pews (to my knowledge), feelings of racism are still overwhelming in many parts of Canada to this day. Racism is far from dead, it's just covered it's face in gentle(r) words. I do not own the image used.

4 brave kids go to a campsite and Bryan tries to spook them out with a fake story about a girl name Kamala, she would kill people who talk behind her back, and after he finishes his legend about the scary woman, troubles start to head their way. Is this real, is this fake? We will only know if he looks behind the rattling bush. Will they be seen again or will they never utter a single letter after this experience?
