Years have passed since the magic was restored Mirabel is now a grown woman, her sisters and cousins had settled down and had children of their own but now she has come of age which means she needs to marry someone according to Abuela, but she is only allowed to marry someone in the village and there was one guy that only wanted to marry her for power, with an act he won over the trust of every family madrigal member except for Mirabel who she knew everything but her family wanted her to marry him, one night in town an outsider named Macario found their village, one look at Mirabel and with a smile fell in love and Mirabel fell in love too. But with so many things standing in their way of their love, it will be impossible for them to be together. Abuela started to notice too. One night the candle was acting and was actually beginning to melt and the magic was slowly disappearing. Who is the man who wants the power? Will Mirabel marry him? -Writing is paused- This story is about two teenagers who find themselves always bumping into each other until finally one decides to invite them in. (Y/n) is you, so the race or gender completely has no relevant matter but for the sake of writing the pronouns I placed are (they/them) to be fluid, you can replace them with anything in your head. This is a very very slow burn with it taking up to 2 years for them to finally acknowledge each other as more than friends. They start out at 15 years old and end up in a spiral and complicated situation at 17, maybe 18 idk yet. When things take an unexpected turn on their feelings, (y/n) is stuck in a decision. Their background will be limited but I'm pretty sure I'll make it so their parents died a few years back (stereotypical, ik) solely because I have no idea how to write a functional family. When it comes to emotional stuff (Y/n) sort of lacks in compassion and ig u can think of them as emotionless but that's not really all of it, I'm just making it so they don't understand a lot of things when it comes to feelings. I'll try to keep it short but I also want to put some detail into it so idk how many chapters long it will be but....enjoy anyways!

Bruno Madrigal is dead but nobody knows yet besides clumsy, gift-less 6 year Mirabel who thinks that she's befriending her uncle.

Priscila Madrigal is the daughter of Julieta and Augustin, sister of Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel. With the power of hydrokinesis AKA water manipulation, there's a lot of work you have to do. Priscila is always trying her hardest to make sure that Abuela is happy but most of the time Abuela doesn't even see her efforts, she's mostly focused on Luisa, or Isabela. And she's giving you a job to read the story and see what happens to her. ( BTW, in this AU, Mirabel does have a gift and it's being the next candle holder, even though we figured that out at the end of the movie I want it to be like she had that gift before the end of the movie so that way most of the attention can be on Priscila. So abuela treats Mirabelle good in this AU )

Mia is a 15 year old girl that just moved to a new city after her abuela died. She moves to New York from Kentucky. She has to adjust from the very different environments. How will she cope from the death? How will she adjust to the city? Will she like her school? Find out in Mia's flower

⚠️This includes Encanto spoilers so if you haven't watched it go watch it!⚠️ Bruno experiences a lot pain in the movie. From his own family abandoned him to the town hating him. But what if we turned the pain up on high? And what if he had something to lose or better yet someone? Would he still leave? That's basically what I'm going to experiment with in this book! But with some twists.😉 Bruno's gonna meet someone. Now this person and him have a weird situation going on. She keeps leaving him. There is only one reason why. Or should I say only one person....

Dolores has always struggled with her gift. She missed those years where she could think for herself. Even when she's sleeping or doing a simple task, she can't get a minute of silence. Of course she doesn't tell anyone, that would be an inconvenience and Abuela doesn't like it when things go perfect. When Bruno came back her mamá, Pepa was still salty and upset with her tío so she tried to keep her kids a good distance away from him. But Dolores can relate to him with hating their powers. Let's talk for a sec, I personally believe that Dolores and Bruno have the worst powers. Like cool you can hear almost anything but I would have a hard time being able to think clearly and always being able the hear everything. I would probably go a little crazy. One her door she looks worried while everyone else looks happy or calm. Also I think Her and Bruno would be able to bond over the dislike of their powers. Anywho, I loved the movie with its vivid colors, culture and music. Also in the song 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' her prophecy says that her true love will be out of reach a married to another, is so sad. Also she has a lovely singing voice. 😍

She knew how to take care of herself properly even when she's living alone with no parents.
