Atlas Madrigal was born to a family in the village of Encanto, but mysteriously, she ended up abandoned on the doorstep of the Madrigal family. With so many people already living in house, the Madrigal family couldn't bring themselves to take in the girl. They gave her to another family in the village, but once again that morning Atlas turned back up on their doorstep. After weeks of attempting to give the girl away, and continuously failing, they decided the take her in. The problem was, who would raise her? No one really wanted her, until Bruno decided he would take in the girl. She was not officially adopted by the family, but she was still treated lovingly by everyone. Well, everyone but Abuela. Now she's five years old, and when it's time for the newest Madrigal to receive her gift, something goes wrong and it doesn't work for her.

You see, Rosa has the power to see souls and hear them, communicate with them, and she helps them cross over. Of course, not many people know this since she's been outcasted. While she is close to everyone else in her family, Rosa often takes Abuela's words to heart. Follow along as Rosa's family experiences something that they never have before.
