The 'wealthy' family had sternly decided to leave the Philippines and move to Colombia. The family's matriarch, whom the Madrigal's matriarch's acquaintance, will finally meet again after a long period of time. This story is a magical realism that takes place in the early 1950s, with a sense of the author's personal experiences.

"Mi Carámbano" is an Elsa x Isabela Madrigal fic taking place during the events of the first 'Frozen' movie & one year before 'Encanto'. -------- Isabela Madrigal was blooming flowers for the town when & an odd wind pattern picked up her flowers. She became distracted by it & followed. Isa's youngest sister, Mirabel, had also seen the patterns. Their abuela witnessed Isa pushing off chores to 'dilly-dally' with her sister & now angrily trailed after them. Hence why it's called fan-FICTION. I'm also not glossing over or replacing any themes in Frozen or Encanto. I'm doing my best to still highlight those separate stories as well as aspects of Isa's heritage, and a story of wlw love.
