Harry was just a young child when it happened. He lived with his unloving relatives in Surrey. 5 years of abuse took its toll on him by the time he was 6 years old. He noticed everything becoming quieter and quieter everyday but what he didn't realise was what it meant. When he woke up one morning not hearing a thing, it scared him. Wouldn't it scare you too? When his eleventh birthday rolled around, he got a letter to go to a school that if he went by logic, shouldn't have existed at all. What will people think when they find out he's deaf? Harry certainly doesn't want to find out. He tries and succeeds in hiding from some but others won't be fooled. *there will be mentions of physical and mental abuse and descriptions of injuries caused by this so please be careful when reading*

Dumbledore has put him with the Dursley's in hopes he would be abused and come to Hogwarts eager to please the one who 'saved' him. When he was beaten nearly to death the summer after his fifth year by his uncle, he escaped and went to the house on Spinners End he had heard of only briefly during a conversation with Sirius earlier that year. He knew that the man would be the only one to not report straight back to either Dumbledore, or Voldemort. The man was completely unaware of his true relation to the boy, and he planned to keep it that way. He didn't plan to stick around long anyway, just long enough to get to safety. Things weren't supposed to turn out like this, but things tend to get out of control for the boy who lived, and he didn't know where else to go. As snape sat in dumbledore's office reading a letter adressed to him by non-other than the love of his life, Lilly Potter, he had tears in his eyes as he realized that the quiet world he always knew would soon be interupted by the laughter of a child he never knew he had. Years later lilly had harry, it was only coincidence and soem would say luck that he looked so much like james even though he was snapes child. the reason she had had harry so much later is becuase she had a delayed pregnancy (just pretend that's a thing) but she decided to never tell snape or james about it. but when she realized that both her and james were going to die she wrote a letter to snape explaining things and sent it to dumbledore telling him not to give it ti snape until harry was five. soo when harry turned fiive dumbledore gathered them both up and explained and harry lives with snape and also harry was absued at the dursleys before he went with snape so he's like super messed up and was diagnosed with depresseion and all the shit. so i suck at descriptions but basically yeah just read it.
