What was your name?" I asked her. "Amy. And you?" she replied. "Evie." There was a long pause. She looked up, hope filling her eyes. "Evie Taylor?" I gasped. "How did you know my real name?" I yelled at her. Evie's been on the run. But why? And what happens when the Alpha, Daniel, is acting awfully strange and possessive?

Daily thoughts of someone that was abused. Daily words from an abused daughter... but knowing at the end of the day... knowing it will never change... These are the words to the mother... These are the thoughts for the abuser.... No matter if she likes it or not!!!

I Got Flowers Today is a poem by Paulette Kelly focusing on domestic violence. If you have not read the poem yet, I highly suggest you do so that you understand what is going on. I had to write a story(like a short story) about the story within the poem and I got a really good grade in the class that I wrote it for and I'm extremely proud of my work so I thought I would share it here.
