I remember is a poem I wrote for a poem evaluation from my English class in high school. This was originally written on 4/6/17. This is a standalone poem that I wrote about growing up in my home. A 14 year old boy and his 13 year old sister have to live with their abusive dad after their mother died in a car crash, and they face many challenges because of it. Oliver and his sister Milly have always been sort of outcasts, but after their mother died and they had to move away, things got a whole lot worse. Follow them along while they battle mental health, addictions, bullies, and more.
