Waking up, inside of a cold room, with empty walls, only the bed I was lying in was present. No living soul around me could relieve me from my misery. The pain coming from my side, it stung like being cut alive. I couldn't wait for the redemption to come to myself. An unknown force in my body told me, that I can't let myself die. I need to go." Waking up in an unknown place, without prior memories of anything, a wounded woman finds herself in the Duke's Mansion. No one knowing where and why did she come from, even her name is a deep mystery. The glares of the ones around, would they be like that if they didn't know who she was? Would the grand duke sent her piercing glares, and avoid her at any costs like that? Why are the gates of the mansion closed at all times, and the world beyond the surrounding forest out of her reach? "The wound in my body aches every day. My misery of mystery suffocates me deep. Why is it that you can't tell me anything, master?" He flicked at only her mentioning him as his master. A crossed expression appeared on his face, with his thick eyebrows frowning deeply in thoughts. Staring at her madly, with a pair of two, obsidian black eyes, she couldn't remember what a glare like this meant. If she did, she would run away much sooner.

"Slumber // Dream to Recovery" is a look into the dark parts of a child with an abusive home life. It acts as a memoir of poetry, foretelling the painful and cataclysmic events as well as the path of recovery taken to get to a lighter place. "This book was written about the darkest period of my life. The time in my life where I was scared to come home in fear of getting emotionally beaten into the ground. This book acted as my therapy. After spending almost a year with this project, I feel much brighter than I've ever been. I'm honored to be able to share the dark and my light, with you."
