Where he wakes in a dark trench. His voice stolen and mouth missing, he climbed out of the trench searching for an explanation. He finds a golden statue of an angel in hell, and to his suprise the angel could move and speak. Answering his questions the angel sent Nick on a journey to seek someone called "The Kindler". Throughout his journey he discovers new powers/abilities to help him return to the world of the living.
