Dace meets someone new...a person that captivates...and scares him. Rath Dace thinks that Rath is just a dream and dosent talk much about it. What he dosen't know is that Rath is a lot more importent in this mysterious dark society and what Rath wants, Rath gets. But things dont always go as planed...especially when the problem is Kaine. Kaine wants Dace...and wont give him up to any bloodsucker. Dace and Kaine have known each other for as long as Dace could remember. Kaine protected and saved Dace when he was bullied. They've been together ever since. Then there's Loki, the boy who hunts him...and his heart. The mysterious Loki somehow knows Dace from somewhere, But where could they have met each other, if they both grew up in different worlds.
