Fleeing from an arranged marriage Sofia finds herself abort a merchants ship which is bombarded by pirates. Sneaking onto the ship she meets the Captain, Edward Kenway, he brings her to Nassau to setup a second safehouse. Sofias' life is nothing out of the ordinary until a bloodied man washes ashore. What adventures are in store for her after she saves this stranger on the beach?

Pirate Captain Edward Kenway, fearless, cocky, yet witty has had tensions with a group, the Assassin Order, whom was introduced quite bloodily by a good friend, James Kidd. However as secrets are revealed, and past events of love begin to take a toll on both, Edward and Mary have to go through it. Together or not.
