«Why do you want to stay here, now?» Right, maybe that was even worse. I turned around on one side to glance at him, and he turned around to face me too, looking right into my eyes and leaving me breathless. I kept holding his gaze, without uttering a single word. I could even stood fully awake for another night observing his facial features resting, just to get his figure etched in my memory in order not to forget it. «It's because you really like this planet or...» at that point he looked away and I noticed that even he was blushing up to the tips of his poppy-out ears, and I couldn't help but smile. «...you got attached to Nix?» he concluded quickly. If I had been standing, I would have surely fallen over because of that absurd statement, which had been formulated just to waste more time and perhaps urging me to talk. I stubbornly tried not to answer him again, hoping that sooner or later he would realise or declare himself, too. «...or to me?» he finally asked, turning his face towards me again, as to ascertain that I didn't laugh at him, for then turning around again towards an indeterminate point in the woods.
