Accepting Stories

Arthur Linsly is a simple and quiet guy who would rather be alone than risk someone finding out he likes boys. So from the safety of his room, he writes a list consisting of the names of guys he likes. And more importantly, he puts himself at number one, because why can't he be on a list? But when the list gets anonymously sent out, suddenly, to the whole school, a shy Arthur Linsly and the boys he likes, have been placed on a pedestal where Arthur is accidentally at the top. This story contains excerpts from the novel "Challenger Deep" by Neal Shusterman. The excerpts are in italics so you know what is his work and what is mine. Challenger Deep is an amazing novel and I encouraged you to read it!

Inside this book, is every poem I've written in the past year. Which people apparently love to read. Give it a try if you want, but this is how i survived most days and it means a lot to me. Inside you'll read poems I've shown to friends and poems I have only shown one other person. I'm putting my heart (literally. no seriously literally don't drop it now) in your hands.

At a boarding school, there's only so much that kids can do to have fun. Especially high school kids. No fun drinking parties, well, not often, because teachers are all over. But that doesn't mean you can't have fun at parties in other ways! Kids from every grade take part in fun activities every Saturday -- organized by other kids -- to get everyone's minds off of school for the night. It could be just get-togethers, parties that aren't all that crazy, or weird and random games. Everyone is pretty much open to anything. (Sorry for the bad description, it's an old story and I'm just now going back to edit it a little bit lol)
