It emphasizes how a resilient and elegant woman is willing to endure and wait, despite repeated rejections and cold avoidance from the man she loves. On Trevor's side, it portrays the numbness and blindness of a person chasing a "ghost" or a past love (Reigh) that was never meant for him. Due to his obsession with his career and the wrong person, he fails to recognize the true value of the one who has always been by his side. Although there is a heavy element of heartbreak, the story is also about Keziah's personal growth. Despite exam failures, burnout, and unrequited love, she never gives up on her dreams until she becomes a highly successful CPA-Lawyer. Ultimately, it shows the importance of setting boundaries-that there comes a right time to give up and choose one's own peace and self-worth instead. Lastly, the story implies that love is just like accounting; if you are always giving without anything returning, your capital will eventually run out. It mirrors the painful reality that we often realize a person's worth when it is already too late-when they are no longer by our side.

I started as a short story writer but as my experience expanded, I thought more about coming up with novels than creating more short stories. It is until of recent (in late 2021) that a friend of mine (Treasure), the main character of the first short story of the anthology introduced me to writing competitions that rebirthed my effort for short stories. My first short story didn't even make it to the short list in the competition. So I thought about publishing it here on Wattpad so that it doesn't go to waste. I hope to take part in more competitions to come and similarly, those short stories I'll have written will also get published here as part of this anthology. These stories are mostly a dedication to my friends that greatly impress me with their character. When I accumulated many short stories at the beginning, I decided to label them as TB Stories. TB stands for Thin Boy. I'm of a lilliputian build and the writer of these fantasies. BE AWARE! : The Parental Guidance Ratings of this short story collection differ accordingly.
