After his little sixteen year old brother Ashton Butler dies, Rylee Butler, age twenty-one, still living with his parents while attending college, finds out that Ashton died due to a rumored death. Now Rylee must take action. Rylee discovers that someone, from an anonymous number, had sent a message to the entire school of Ashton's high school, about how Ashton had falsely accused a student at another school about murdering a police officer due to racism.
But then Rylee looks into his brother's case much more seriously. Until the truth is shockingly evident in the fact that the person responsible for Ashton's death, Rylee, is in shock by what he discovered. Multiple police officers at different departments, are sending false accusations to young teenagers from all over the state of Texas, and falsely accusing the victim of a murder from a different person who says they'd committed, when really, they'd never committed the crime. Therefore, Rylee must find out who is really behind all this effort to get the police to falsely accuse young teenagers of murder, and will Rylee be able to put an end to the nightmare and get justice for Ashton.
