No one knows about the crew since they didn't make a public appearance. P.s Jinbei already joined the crew. Everything is happening before the time-skip like before Teachs betrayal and after Luffy sailed out but still didn't make himself known. All ten strawhat members already joined. Jinbei is staying with the Whitebeard pirates after he retired from being the sun pirates captain, he didn't really have much of a choice since his captain ordered him to. Whitebeard wouldn't mind since he considers him as family even if he didn't join the crew.
