This fanfiction takes place in Aetherreal, an alternate version of the world of Strangereal where the events, nations, characters, and technology of both Ace Combat and Project Wingman have always existed as part of the same history. The story begins during the events of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, following Trigger, the Osean Air Defense Force (OADF), and countless pilots caught in the chaos of the Lighthouse War. However, unlike the original Ace Combat timeline, mercenary organizations, nations, aircraft programs, and legendary pilots from Project Wingman are fully integrated into the world's history. This is not a multiverse crossover. There are no alternate dimensions or parallel worlds. Instead, Aetherreal is a reimagined continuity where both franchises naturally coexist within a single shared setting. While the story starts during the Lighthouse War, it will expand far beyond the events of Ace Combat 7. As old rivalries fade and new powers emerge, the world enters a new era of aerial warfare. Future conflicts, original wars, political crises, and technological revolutions will shape the decades that follow. While Aetherreal shares much of its early history with the original Ace Combat timeline, its future diverges significantly after the events of Ace Combat 7. The corporate conflicts, political landscape, and technological developments depicted in Ace Combat 3 do not occur in this continuity. Instead, the world follows its own path, shaped by new wars, emerging powers, mercenary organizations, and the actions of legendary aces. Future events may draw inspiration from Ace Combat 8 and other entries in the series, but they are reinterpreted as part of Aetherreal's Expect realistic military terminology, radio communications, squadron designations, operational briefings, and air combat doctrine inspired by modern military aviation and the Ace Combat franchise. This is a Ace combat x Project Wingman and Top Gun crossover story which all three are set in the same universe. First the events of Top Gun happens then Ulysses, later Maverick and finally the Lighthouse War. The prologue will begin with Top gun and Maverick, and then Ace Combat 7's story. This story is inspired by Project Wyvern, a Ace Combat and Project wingman fanfic by Echo 1608. Which some elements will be included from it just a little. The 86 Strike Package was formed for several reasons. Among them are their unique abilities, lack of a homeland, and tactical needs. While the main purpose is as a unit in the Lightning Strike Operation or 'Raiding unit', as well as a collaboration unit between countries. It was expected that at least this force would have enough members, but the reality turned out to be worse, the 86 Strike Package members only had some processor who were Spearhead and Brísingamen Squadron survivors, while their commander was Colonel Vladilena Milizé who was also their Handler in the 86th district. Although only having some combat personnel which was clearly very small, their presence was enough to at least make several military operations successful for humanity. But one night, a strange event befell the 86 Strike Package headquarters, where their headquarters disappeared overnight without leaving any signs or traces as if they never existed. Where are they and what really happened to them?. I do not own 86 Eighty Six, Ace Combat 7, and Blue Archive. For the OC itself, I was slightly inspired by the Strider Squadron from Ace Combat 7. The ownership rights of each work belong to each person, individual or company. Blue Archive as the setting of the story in the fanfic owned by the Nexon company, the Strider squadron from the game Ace Combat 7 which inspired the name of the OC created by the developer from Bandai Namco Entertainment, and Eighty-six light novel series by Japanese novelist Asato Asato.
