"You want to join the Suit of Swords?" The knight asked. She raised a thick eyebrow, smoothing down the feathers on her arrows. "I do." Rose said earnestly. "We cannot be dragged down by young, inexperienced fools. The Suit has a reputation to uphold." Lynn said sternly. "But Lynn," Martha sighed softly, glancing at Rose out of the corner of her eye. "We need an Ace." "Ace" is the tale of Rosalynn, a young lumberjack in the service of the Royals, told from the points of view of Rose herself, her best friend Prince Gray, and a knight in the Suit named Martha, who was the Suit's Queen. The Suit is in desperate need of an Ace, for their last one was killed in a storm by her bucking horse. Rose is too young, and though she can hold a sword and swing it, Lady Lynn, the Suit's King, isn't impressed. As a test, Lynn gives Rose a difficult task that she must accomplish by the beginning of the solstice. Can Rose prove herself to be worthy of the Suit, even if the task Lynn gives her is something she can hardly do?

Shiho Nishizumi had to think of something to regain the position and prestige of the once invincible way of Sensha-Do. However whom she finds will most likely be from someone unexpected. This is a fantasy story with characters I made. me and my friends designed them, so they are OCS! there are bloody and gory parts, I will try to go easy on it and not have much. This is also a mid evil type story! I also have mild cursing here and there in the writing (mainly towards the end). Enjoy!!

At sixteen, he laughed at his father's claims that there were ways of traveling through portals to other realms; but five years later, as sole heir to his recently deceased father's kingdom, the eerie tale somehow re-enters his mind, and with it a curious desire to break his promise. To see if, as his father said, other dimensions existed, and one traveled to them via cards and mirrors. But Teo gets more than he ever dreamed he would, and soon wakes in a realm of the imaginary, the insane, and the impossible... only to find he switched places with a knave named Jack of Spades.
