The writer's goal is to describe and share a compilation of stories that many can relate to due to their own trauma turned and still turning triumphant experiences. Connecting the dots of Emmell's life and how different experiences shifts not only her perspective, but also challenges all the rules she's ever been told to aimlessly follow without questions, yet VERY questionable directions which lead her down a path of learning and following her own voice, discernment, and faith even just the size of a mustard seed.

For her, the town was nothing less than a prison. Every day felt like a struggle as she tried to navigate the narrow streets, the judgmental stares from the townsfolk, and the whispers behind her back. On the other hand, for him, the same town was a breath of fresh air. He walked around with ease, feeling at home amidst the familiar faces and the warm greetings from everyone he met. His father was beloved by all, a respected figure who brought smiles to women's faces and nods from men. He never had to worry about being judged or ostracized like she did. It appears that the only common ground they share is her brother and his best friend. Regrettably, their relationship is quite acrimonious. She finds it difficult to bear his contagious happiness, while he is put off by her constant grumpiness.
