I know I am, but why does it feel like I'm not?

The loud guitar riffs and baselines constantly ripped through the air accompanied by the pounding of drums. The beginning of a new song started to play through the speakers; the heavy distorted guitar and drums created a unique sound. "What about this one?" Mötley asked, a quizzical look on her face. "What color is this one? It's new."... Read the story to find out what happens.

It's the year 2056 and the world has almost returned to how it was before the war started. There was one big difference: almost everyone only saw black and white. The Schism, or The Stalemate War as some would call it, entered its final stage in 2050 when the war came to the point where everyone was stuck in a deadlock with millions of lives already lost. After finally coming to their senses and realizing the rupture that they had caused, the world leaders decided to hold a meeting. They wanted to discuss peace. However, there were groups of people that decided that peace was indeed needed, but the old leaders no longer were. With this in mind, the leaders were assassinated as soon as the peace agreement was signed and new ones were quickly chosen by the citizens that remained. This time, everyone worked hand-in-hand to restore the world and to retain the peace that they had gained. Everything was going smoothly. Buildings and structures were repaired, loved ones were buried and it was finally time to continue moving forward. Until one day, a citizen accidentally discovered a switch and pressed it without thinking much about what would happen. Thousands of smoke bombs strategically placed all around the world detonated all at once. Panic ensued. Smoke engulfed the world and it took a week for it to clear out. As everyone woke up to a smoke-free environment once again, they found out that nothing would ever be the same.

Right after graduating high school, Amy is invited to go to a year-long program that is widely recognized as an incredible opportunity. Though no one really knows what the program is (and everyone is chosen completely randomly) it is essentially expected that everyone invited will go. So, Amy goes, not much to her own joy. So off she goes, to a new temporary life, one she will quickly lose control over, and where she will meet fun characters like: Insomnia girl Depression: The person and Good Acting Skillz please read this and please comment im desperate for validation

achromic / adjective (rare) : having no colour except black, white, or shades of grey.

She was just a simple girl- making her way through a happy contented life. But all good things needed to stop right? It began when her mother died. Her father started drowning himself with work and multiple jobs just to keep himself from remembering his deceased wife. From then on her father still couldn't take it so he took away his own life; though he made it looked like he died from overworked. Only she knew that it was suicide so she kept the truth from other people knowing that they'll keep pestering her about it. Luckily, her parents left a huge amount of money for her education and other expenses. She only had one true friend to help her out throughout all of it. She was a bit livelier, thanks to her friend. However that was just a beginning. A month after her father passed away, she was filed missing. They couldn't find her no matter what or where they looked. So a year after she went missing, she came back. It may seem like nothing happened from the past year, but something certainly did happen. Her hair became white. Not the white kind of dye but the purest natural white of all. So what did really happen? Did her hair becoming white has a significance? And then he entered her life. She was not the only one with secrets; he also had. Will there be a connection with the two of them? Because a simple silver hair has more meaning to it than a mere color. Achromatic means it involves no hue which represents black or white. Her life is achromatic, it doesn't contain colors; she's waiting for him to taint the white surface with hue. Or maybe both of them didn't know that her life was already stained black from the start. What would happen when two colors blend?

This is a story based off of a dream that I had about people of every race being forced to wear all white outfits and being held captive in a huge white building where they are kept alive until they turn 20.
