Katherine is a normal high school student, not exactly popular but overall happy with her life as it is, until one mistake will destroy everything.

(On Hold) Mary has always felt out of place in her own life. Everything she does is dubbed creepy or wrong by her teachers, her classmates, even her own family. But one drop of water can change everything. There's a virus in the rain. That's all anybody knows. It can kill someone with one touch. Nothing is safe anymore. But as she watches the very roots of her world fracture around her, she realises something. She's immune to the disease.

I was tired of crying. Of feeling sorry for myself and for all of them. It was time to move on.

Annabeth. Connor. Two kids filled with youthful innocence, ignorance and idiotic ideas, but in a world commanded with political leaders with their choices deciding the lives of others, these two adolescent have the chance to change these political leaders, or at least their choices. They are thrown into a world battered with horrific rain, tearing the gap between the wealthy and the poor, these two attempt to pursuit what they think is right. Or at least whoever is winning the argument thinks is right.
