Ever had an experience rock your world so hard that it changed your axis eternally? I did. Here's my story . . . I try to stop myself from turning towards him but I can't help myself when he uses that pleading tone. So I turn towards him and in that moment I wished I hadn't. I watch the car make impact with his body. I watch his body leave the ground only to make contact with it a few seconds later followed by cold silence. Blood...pooling...lots of blood from his head. I don't scream, I couldn't even if I tried. I don't run towards him because somehow, I know he is dead. I don't cry...I feel numb inside.
