These words come from Sedakasutta in the Buddhist canon (Suttapiṭaka : Saṃyuttanikāya : Satipaṭṭhānasaṃyuttam : Nālandāvagga : ninth sūtra), in which Medakathālikā is a character with a masculine gender and feminine name.
