Trigger warnings - there are heavy themes of ICE, violence and discrimination. During one of my seminars at uni I was asked to write a poem about something that makes me angry, and I chose everything that's going on in the world right now (politically). Not only does it make me feel but I hope it personally affects me too. It's a very long, strong and powerfully emotional poem that should tug at any humane person's heart. Every time I read it in my head or allowed I need to take multiple breaths, stutter and often feel the need or do cry. Because this is genuinely how I feel. So if you care about what is going on in the world, especially in the US and UK please give my poem a read I really appreciate it.

"It's quite like her to punch the shit out of a grown man." "Morpheus had done his very best to disconnect himself emotionally from the waking world, and in doing so, had disconnected the waking world from him, the dreaming." Morpheus feels equal disdain and fascination for humanity, envy even at times. After having embarked upon a journey to find his sand, helm, and ruby, he was left empty- stronger, yet unfulfilled. His talk with his sister, Death, had stuck with him. But where was he supposed to find another purpose? A purpose beyond his function? Turns out it would land right in the lap of his realm, unhappily. Morpheus, the Prince of Stories, is met with an unrealized tale, a 15 year old Giovanna Cassidy, an angry, opinionated singer and her band who bring a certain moxie to the life of an anthropomorphic personification of dreams. Giovanna, a singer living in downtown New York with her grandma after the devastating loss of her brother, Omari, is dedicated to bringing change during a time that especially needs it along with her band of talented friends. Unknowingly, she gets into an argument with the king of dreams over a recurring nightmare that she just can't shake. And, despite harsh words, slowly becomes friends with him. In her search for her purpose, she becomes the purpose of an Endless.

Lena returns to her childhood neighborhood, only to find it teetering on the edge of dramatic change. The old bookstore, once a bustling hub of cultural exchange, has lain dormant for years. Now, as gentrification creeps in and small businesses struggle to survive, Lena dreams of reviving this intimate space into a vibrant center for art, learning, and conversation. Through the hesitant trust of a wary shopkeeper, the untapped potential of a young musician torn between art and social media fame, and the gentle wisdom of a retired teacher, Lena learns that community bonds are as fragile as they are essential. Together, they attempt to break the cycle of indifference and disconnection-one poetry reading, mural painting, and open-mic night at a time. "Whispers Between the Shelves" offers an uplifting exploration of resilience, dialogue, and the quiet power of cultural spaces in an urban environment. It's a journey that celebrates the courage needed to rewrite a neighborhood's narrative, one reader, one story, and one conversation at a time.

I know others have suffered much more than I have. But although I'm not rich, I enjoy being who I am now, and this is a little of how I got here. It's the true story of my child abuse, addiction, sexual assault, being kidnapped, testifying against the mob, nearly being shot in the face, and diving into drugs and alcohol to forget my childhood trauma, before I finally acknowledged God. I spent most of my life intoxicated, believing I had no value to offer, hiding from the trauma of my childhood. And I truly believed I was worthless and had nothing to offer society, and spent most of my teen and adult years in a drug and alcohol induced stupper. When I truly found God in the mist of my littlest brothers death. Then all my trials and tribulations became a beacon of hope for people with a similar past. And my childhoods innocents became a sacrificial offering to help others find freedom, and their own self-worth. Therefore I look for people in our community that need help completing a project that they can't do alone. Then I try to find volunteers to help me complete the project, out of the broken masses. Because encouraging people to help others, helps them heal, and find their own self-worth, through doing unselfish acts of kindness. It's about showing people we hold the key to our own prisons cell. The key is knowing God and sharing his compassion and grace with others and we had it the whole time. Growing in your relationship with God learning his word and doing his works is a great creating a great foundation to eventually find the ministry spoken in your life. And I think everyone has a ministry spoken that most of us ignored until we learn to listen. And our jobs to take the light of his word into the darkness and cast demons out of those prisoned in the darkness.

A living anthology of poems through darkness and light, highs and lows, experiments and discoveries, will and serendipity. Poetry that is musical, requiem or elegy, classic or hardstyle. These poems have seen me through the best and worst. Some of my happiest moments have turned into my darkest poems, and dark times have brought out my most uplifting verses. I don't know when this "living" anthology will become final, and I will move on to my next work. Perhaps it will live on as my next work takes flight. Meanwhile and regardless, enjoy.

The title says it all folks. It is a fun book for fellow hotheads who want to let steam off! Sometimes it is good to talk about uncomfortable things that how you fake till you make it. I'm healing by doing that and feeling a lot more confident while doing it. It's all uncensored I'm done pleasing people. The real me! Some rants are not all angry, just unapologetic vibes. This is poetry, a favorite song, and a random book. Enjoy!
