'Fear the Shadows. Stay in the light.' A cryptic warning given to Adalia Flynn when a mysterious stranger arrives at school. Adalia thinks nothing of them. Who would? But events are already in motion and everything soon changes for Adalia; the revelation of the 'Lighters' and mysterious Idylinton, the strange burglary that occurs, the and a whisper, a whisper about her father's death. Dark forces threaten to destroy Adalia's life and she must do all she can to keep herself, and this world, in the light.

"You're a complete madman." Emily snaps, trying to yank the ring off to no avail. "I'm not any crazier than you are." I stand up, walking over to her. "No. No Jackson, do not try and convince yourself, or me for that matter that you are normal." She spits. "Because there is no way in hell I'm going to to ride off in the sunset with you in your delusional fantasy. Take the goddamn ring off, now." I tower over her, casting a shadow on her face. "Sorry darling, afraid I'm not going to do that." She looks startled by my condescending tone. "What I say goes, you've forfeited your input." _______ Their secrets are all out in the open, and the inside of the palace walls is burdened with the mood of the Salem Witch Trials... CHRISTOS is making a final attempt for a chance at the throne, pushing ALICE to be a perfect candidate for queen despite her still adjusting to her powers. ADALIA has no time to reason with her parents, much too busy with the finishing touches of her wedding to LUCIFER, who has found a new reason to be anxious. EMILY is insistent on holding on to bits and pieces of her past, pushing JACKSON's patience over the edge, especially with pressure from the Reed family for his proposal. And the future heir for the throne is still up for grabs...

Adalia is just a normal girl in her kingdom. Her father and her brother live happily in a small village, she found the love of her life, and she is able to spend most of her time in her beloved forest. But when a rival kingdom kidnaps her brother, she is forced into a hunt with an arrogant stranger to save him. But what will she do when everything she knows is turned upside down and she finds out that the people closest to her are nothing like what she thought?

Everyone thinks that Adalia is crazy. But one day, she discovers who and what she truly is, a witch.

So far, I've come up with two parts that need reviewing. This is just a preview of my hopefully soon-to-be published book, Believe. Thirteen-year-old Adalia wants nothing more than to have her separated family together, again. Every day for as long as she can remember, she has prayed to God and begged him to return her life to normal. "What is the will of God?" She asks herself. Adalia has even considered suicide as a last resort, but cannot go through with it, for she recently realized that she is to live only to serve God. But she wants to be happy, too. Will the Lord help her through her suffering?

A funfilled story about eight brothers and sisters and all the crazy things going on all the time. A humorous story filled with adventure and romance.

The six are tied together by nothing but fate, but one of them is a bad seed that will taint the rest of the garden...
