How I met Adalyn

Everyone who was anyone knew about Ike and Adalyn. The father-daughter duo have been almost everywhere in the country of Rind. They were quite possibly the most talented performers in existence, but for more than one reason. They traveled all over the country on a seemingly never ending tour. As long as they were famous, people wanted them. But something lingered underneath their grand facade, and no one could quite put a finger on it.

Sometimes heroes lose. Sometimes people die. But it's courage, drive, and hope that is required to push those who remain on. And sometimes a rat. Despite all that had been said, Adalyn lived by three rules and for a while, she had thought those rules to be the means to survive. It often made her think back to the words spoken from the people around her, to live free, without rules- the only one needed is the will to survive in this cruel cruel world. Adalyn didn't know that at first, and maybe she still didn't, but after the people she had met along the way and all that she had learned, things were subjected to change... weren't they? This is the untold story of Adalyn Mikaelson, hidden from those around, she was bound to be a bit different, right? Or was she just crazy like her uncle? Maybe it was both- read to find out.
