Every year, there is an annual extermination where exorcists come down from heaven down to hell and slaughter as many sinners as they can within a 24-hour time frame before returning to heaven. However, there was a second squad of exorcists that survived under Adam while being led by someone else. Unlike Adam and his girls, this of exorcists is more adapted to ground battles and are more skilled in close corders and hand to hand combat while they merely fight like hunters not expecting the sinners to fight back which would be their down fall. This group of exorcists is led by an angel that was seemingly literally made to be a demon slayer, which he does so ruthlessly and without mercy and expect his subordinates to do the same, which is why he trained them personally so they'd be as efficient in combat as well. Everything seems very doom and gloom for the denizens of hell with this new faction of exorcists it'd seem that they'll all be whipped out. However, not everything is what it seems
