This fanfiction plays around 2012/2013. The Manchester duo Hurts play one of their last gigs of the Happiness tour when a certain woman in the audience changes everything. Some sort of dramatic romcom, if that makes sense. It's also an appreciation for their album 'Exile'. I decided to write in English even though it's not my mother language. A few years ago I started to write this story. At some point I still had ideas in my head but I just didn't feel like I could write them down in the way I wanted to so I took a very long break. But at the beginning of this year I re-read my story and suddenly it clicked. Out of nowhere I scribbled down a few notes and soon finished a few chapters. The thing that blew my tiny mind the most was the fact, that I used words, phrases, topics back then that later became topics of the following Hurts records. I felt strangely more connected to them than ever and it was easier now to articulate my old ideas. Stay save everybody, take care! X

Theo decides to challenge Adam's willpower during a gig in the attempt to make him admit his feelings

A young girl named Rose Miller was at school one day. She was in the classroom until she needed the toilet. She asked the teacher if she can go and the teacher said yes. A couple of minutes later she heard a loud bang and she saw a man in all black threatening a teacher with a knife. Rose quickly ran into a classroom and hid in there. The door started shaking and she saw that her crush was outside. His name is Adam Anderson. He is known for being the school's heartthrob and catching all of the girl's hearts. Rose then decided to let him enter. What would happen to both of them? Did Rose make the right choice in letting him come in? Let's read to find out!

Adam and Theo met when they were in their early twenties and it was love at first sight. Their jobs kept them apart for a while but at some point they settled down and opted for a more normal life, or at least that was the intention. After getting married they had a baby but while Theo was more than happy to dedicate time to their family, Adam seemed to take distance from it.

Due to some renovations in the building where they live, Adam and Theo are forced to move for a week at Theo parent's house and discover that the whole family knows that they are more than friends and bandmates.

It's the second week of December and Theo can't wait to set up the Christmas tree.

Theo invites their parents to visit them at their new house but Adam is not so enthusiastic of Theo's decision.

Adam Anderson had found himself in a predicament. He was going mad as he tried to figure out if his friend was trying to flirt with him, or if it was just banter. He needed a plan, and fast, if he wanted to avoid going completely bananas.

Adam and Theo are back on the road with the new Hurts tour but something has changed since the last time they shared the bus with their bandmates.

Theo discovers a FB page dedicated to Adam's ass and feels jealous.

Adam decides to face the 'getting married issue' but unfortunately, he does it in the wrong way
