Based on the movie adaptation of 'The Love Hypothesis' by Ali Hazelwood. This fanfic is basically a re-telling of the film (scenes from the movie + little moments I've made up) CHARACTERS BELONG TO ALI HAZELWOOD, THE AMAZING AUTHOR OF 'THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS' When I planned this, I had not read the book. Despite not reading the novel and not knowing how successful the film was as an adaptation, I loved this film on its own merits. Now, I have finished reading the novel so I may include rewrites of certain moments however this fic is mainly centred on the book. The movie is quite recent and I haven't been seeing many fanfics so I thought I'd just write what it is that I want to read. That being said, I'm open to suggestions. Although the parts are in chronological order, they could be interpreted as one-shots. The first 7 parts are all derived from the film. I may have added some dialogue but for the most part the character interactions are all from the film. I simply narrate and add internal thoughts to the characters :) DISCLAIMER: I'm from Aus so I have no idea how US universities work. I'm also not well-versed in scientific language so apologies if I mess up certain details as it's likely because what little knowledge I do have is from the portrayal of college through other films.

Olive Smith and Adam Carlsen survived fake dating. That probably should have been enough. Unfortunately, life keeps presenting them with new variables. Jealousy. One bed. Bad ideas. Questionable experiments. Very little self-control. *More Hypotheses* is a collection of standalone Olive & Adam one-shots featuring banter, fluff, established-relationship chaos, romantic tension, and varying levels of spice. Each chapter is a new hypothesis. Some are scientifically questionable. Most are a terrible idea. All of them require further testing. Inspired by *The Love Hypothesis* by Ali Hazelwood. Fanfiction. The original characters and universe belong to Ali Hazelwood. This is a non-commercial transformative fan work.

Olive Smith needs a place to live. Adam Carlsen has a spare room. This should not be a problem. Unfortunately, they can barely stand each other. He forgets to mention one tiny detail. Her new roommate is Adam Carlsen. Adam has rules. Olive has absolutely no intention of following all of them. But somewhere between shared breakfasts, arguments over the coffee machine, late-night conversations, and one very inconvenient fake relationship, three months starts to feel dangerously short. Because pretending to date Adam Carlsen is supposed to make Olive's life easier. Falling for him was never part of the hypothesis. 🧪 Olive Smith × Adam Carlsen 🏠 Roommates AU 💘 Fake dating 🔥 Slow burn ☕ STEM romcom A non-commercial fanfiction inspired by The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood.

Love was never part of the hypothesis... but neither were kids, snack drawers, or kissing in lab coats. Years after Olive Smith faked a relationship with the brooding, brilliant Dr. Adam Carlsen to survive academia, she's now living her most unpredictable experiment yet: marriage, motherhood, and a house full of crayons, coffee mugs, and dog hair. With a career in science she loves, a husband who kisses her like he's still falling in love, and two tiny humans who keep stealing her side of the bed, Olive is constantly rewriting the formula for what happiness looks like. And Adam - loyal, logical, soft only for her - is learning that not every solution comes from data. From late-night snack fights to backyard stargazing, thunderstorm sleepovers, and wine-fueled tears on the bathroom floor, The Carlsen Equation is a warm, witty, and wildly tender look at what happens after the "happily ever after." Because some love stories don't end - they just evolve.
