It wouldn't be right to potentially endanger heaven by leaving you, the first 'ex-demon,' alone to your own devices. So, someone is assigned to keep an eye on you and ensure you don't immediately revert to your old ways. That shouldn't be a problem, though, right?

THE CHARACTERS AND IMAGES AREN'T MINE UPDATING: Since Hazbin Hotel's Season 2 dropped and Abel appeared, I have to change the story a bit. Also, I noticed everything goes a little too fast and I wanted to change that. -Apologies for not knowing about Abel or even Cain (tho I'm not mentioning him unless he appears in Season 3 or 4) because I'm not religious and know literally nothing about the Bible. I'm not sure yet, but maybe I'll add AlastorxAbel, I'm considering it and maybe it'll be very subtle, but you guys will see why.

Lucifer had never been one to meddle in the affairs of the dead-at least, not personally. He had an empire to run, after all. But when the Exorcist known as Adam fell in battle, something gnawed at him, something beyond curiosity, beyond strategy. It was almost... sentimental. So, under the cover of darkness, while Heaven turned its gaze elsewhere, Lucifer slipped into the wreckage of the battlefield. Adam lay among the ruins, his once-pristine armor shattered, his face bloodied and bruised, but his soul-his essence-hadn't fully slipped away. It was a fragile ember, barely burning, but burning nonetheless. Lucifer had done many things in his existence. But saving an angel-one who had sworn to annihilate his kind-was not one of them.
