This is basically going to be a different short story for each chapter. Each one will be based on an AJR song. Just going to say that I had such a hard time coming up with ideas for this, so a lot of the chapters are made with help from @galaxy_lunaa33 .

It was just another day in the life of 18 year old Ryan Met, and things were going just dandy. That is, until a random kid accidentally introduces him to a brand new world. The world of the 2000's emo community. - When Ryan discovers the emo subculture, things get out of hand very quickly. - Meanwhile, 15 year old Jack struggles to work through his problems. Normally, Ryan would be there to help him, but now, the only thing he has left is the last piece of advice he received from his brother.

Jack has been mourning Alba's death for 8 months...So what happens when he meets her again after a show? (I understand there is a story called Buy You A Rose by @SprinkleSquid on Wattpad. Their story also has a similar concept. However, please note that my story is not at all alike to @SprinkleSquid's story, and that I did not mean to write a story under the exact same name. I wrote this story before reading their story. I am not trying to plagiarise someone else's writing.)

Anyways here's my ten-month passion project. This is the first fic I've ever published anywhere so I hope I did it right.

Leah is a teenage girl in highschool, when her boyfriend breaks up with her, the boy in the band, Adam Metzger, steps in to help Leah through school and becomes her closest friend. But when Adam is faced with the possibility of leaving school early because AJR begins to take off, Leah is left at cross roads with what she should do.
