Adam Parrish is a new student at Aglionby Academy, where the students are taught four core values; tradition, honour, discipline and excellence. While he has had to work for his place at the school, his roommate, Gansey, is the third of his family to go to the school, born to play the role of the dutiful son. They both expect their year to be all about classes and homework, but with their growing friendship and the lesson from their new history teacher, Mr Czerny, their worlds are thrown off course. *Currently in progress and a rough draft - will be edited into a first draft once all chapters are done :)

The soft sound of Gansey's feet echoed through the empty pews in the church. No one was with him. Except they were. Noah Czerny sat silently in the first seat, shoulder slumped. Anyone else would have thought it was a trick of the light but not Gansey. Noah's image flickered slightly in the bright summer light streaming from the stained glass window. "Noah, where's Ronan?" Gwen Malory didn't want to live in Henrietta, she didn't want to share an apartment with three teenage boys, she didn't want to leave school mid-semester and start over again in an all-boys prep school, and she, most definitely she did not want to go and try to find a dead Welsh king with her new, strange friends She didn't want to find her place when her time there was limited, she had to come back home eventually. Things would change, and she couldn't change it. She had enough with her own problems at home, with her odd nightmares and awfully realistic daydreams, she didn't need proof that they weren't dreams, but visions.
