Ginger Graham didn't ask for much in his life. He was perfectly content where he was. He wasn't anything special, and he didn't want to be. All he wanted was to keep living his average, everyday life working at a bookstore and reading good stories during his free time. Let his friends go off and save the world. That was way too far out of his comfort zone and capabilities. That's what he thought, anyway. Too bad some magic lady had to come and shove cards imbued with power that could potentially destroy mountains onto him. So much for normal... Now he was getting caught up in a conflict he wanted nothing to do with in the first place. Magic is real, along with every fairy tale and story ever told. Legendary heroes existed, along with horrific monsters no Grimm could ever compare to. Tensions were high as Grimm and terrorists began to attack. And here Ginger was, just a guy who works at a bookstore suddenly trying to make sense of the world. When did things stop making sense in the world of Remnant?

It was six months after the Battle of Beacon. Many people were left scarred or changed in some way after it. Adam was one of them. He had watched his best friend lose her arm and another died. But, he'd be damned if he let that stop him

Together with Ruby and Weiss they endure and grimm battles and have to deal with society's view of human faunus relationship. Old enemies will return and new ones will arise. Threatening their relationship and their lives.

Yang Xiao-Long has lived a harsh life and has lost nearly everything and everyone that she cares about. She lost the chance to have a proper childhood, her partner ran away from her in her time of need, her mother left her when she was born, and she lost her arm whilst trying to save her said partner.
