This acrostic poem describes the physical features of an urban pest that needs to be controlled. I was inspired to compose this piece, my 400th posting, to commemorate my tenth anniversary on this site which will occur on September 25 of this year.

Lure was just your average for-hire researcher under the employment of the I.F.A (Intergalactic Federation of Allies)... not. A Guardian exile admist a world 227 years in the future and 727 years after his death, what will he do to survive immortality

This somewhat satirical tempoem gives a few suggestions for trapping a persistent raccoon, an urban pest.

When Nick finds, well not necessarily 'finds' more like asks for Lily's number at a party and finally gets the courage to text her she's not to happy about it. She's not sure why he wants her help with it all. Nick, a 16 year old boy with a passion to change the world but is to scared to do it in person, that why he asks Lily a 16 year old girl with cancer help him over a simple text. Somehow they become people that not only helped teenagers around the world with cancer, but found a new best friend. Possibly a new soul mate!

Having been human at one time, Madison got completely covered up with and zipped inside her duvet cover and somehow walked out of her human body, leaving herself with her duvet cover as her new body. As Madi walked out of her human body, her human body reduced itself to a pile of dust. Now a living duvet cover, Madi has to depend on her new body to live. Her 4-year-old cousin, Isabelle, nicknamed Izzy, passed away suddenly as she jerked her head to the right and back to center with her sheet and bangs over her face as her right arm moved back and snapped forward to a sudden stop and hung limp as her heart suddenly stopped. It's up to Madi to find out what Izzy passed away from and what led to her early and sudden demise. Izzy's twin sister Lizzy unexpectedly passed away wrapped in her sheet, and her autopsy indicated that she fatally suffocated. Madi must determine if Lizzy accidentally took her own life or if her life was taken as an act of racial discrimination. Will Madi the living duvet cover uncover a murder in Lizzy's demise or just an accident that could've been prevented?
