A 21 year old Wednesday Addams has moved away from her parents (on their dime) in an attempt to find some independence, however they are concerned that she has taken the opportunity to become a shut-in. Under the guise of an audit, Gomez and Morticia send their young, but trusted family accountant Jeremy Brandt (original character) to negotiate the conditions on Wednesday's continuing financial support, in hopes that he can convince her to reconnect with her family. Seeing through this facade rather easily, Wednesday needs only manipulate him into giving her what she wants, but there just might be something she finds endearing about him... *Note - canonically takes place after Addams Family Values, placing it around the year 2001 (i.e. no relation to the characters as they appear in the Netflix series).
