I wrote this about how I found and then lost my spirituality through my relapse.

Aniia hasn't lived in a stable home for quite some time. She's been horribly addicted to drugs. Whatever she can get, however she can get them. She's mostly on the streets. Sometimes she has a "friend" she can stay with, that isn't very often though. She lives her life how she wants, and no one can stop her.

All was good until she reunited with Val. Val was always a tough man, and was just like Esmée but more in control and more confident. We didn't care about what other people thought about him, and would stick up for anyone at any given moment. He spoke his mind and made sure people had knew they messed up.Esmée always struggled with food, she never got diagnosed with anything because she never went anywhere for it. She was too embarrassed so she never thought she had one. She always struggled with self-harm, wether it was pulling her hair, burning her self, or cutting, even starving herself. She never told anyone and made sure it stayed that way. Val ad Esmée used to be pretty close but they didn't really get along. Enemies would be too harsh to label it but they definitely weren't a fan of each other. Over time they started to hang out more and more, Val noticed she got stressed out a lot so he offered to sleep with her every time she got nervous, anxious, stressed out, or even sad. I used to be a loser. Seriously. I've lost a lot of battles against my emotions. The past few years, however, I've been fighting hard for my mental well-being, and I'm finally winning. It's been a rough ride, and it's not over yet! Come along on the journey through my past as I reminisce the events of my life that contributed to my disorder, and the steps I took to pick up the pieces after I broke. Memoirs of a Bipolar Winner is based on my past and personal experience. My hope is that it will be able to help other people who suffer from this illness, and remind them that they are NOT ALONE. Author's Note: Thank you to everyone who is reading this book and keeping up with the new chapters. I appreciate every one of you! Thank you for helping to encourage this work-in-progress author and her work-in-progress book. ;) This book is not being written in chapter-order. Trips down memory lane are seldom straightforward, especially mine. I'll try to arrange chapters as I can, but just be prepared to see something that might seem out of order.
