Years passed, and the Shepherd-Montgomery family continued to live their lives in Seattle. Dr. Derek Shepherd had become a prominent figure at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, known for his exceptional surgical skills and his dedication to his patients. Addison Montgomery had also built a successful career in the same hospital, specializing in high-risk pregnancies and complex surgeries. Together, they provided the best possible life for their six-year-old daughter, Carson. However, there was a shadow looming over their seemingly idyllic family life-a secret that Derek had carried since their arrival in Seattle.
