La musicalità dei versi di questa raccolta viene accompagnata mano nella mano dall'arte dei quadri dei pittori che più si addicono a raccontare tuttte le sensazioni che toccano il lettore e che toccano il soggetto che nelle poesie narrerà la sua storia.

Nick è tornata, più stanca ed esaurita che mai. Durante questo nuovo capitolo crescerà, grazie anche all'aiuto di nuovi amici, in particolare di due misteriosi figli di Ares, che non la lasceranno mai riposare in pace ma, anzi, la tormenteranno fino a farla confondere ed innervosire. Non mancheranno le disgrazie, i misteri della sua vita che sembrano moltiplicarsi all'ennesima potenza. Ferite che sembravano rimarginate spezzeranno i propri argini e riverseranno il dolore nel cuore della nostra figlia di Ade preferita. Insomma... solita routine. Ma non tutto il male viene per nuocere: arriveranno anche buone notizie, in fondo. O forse no?
