In The Grim Darkness of the Far Future. In the Holy land of Terra, an unknown Gate has been placed, connecting the realms of two locations. Untouched by industrials, nor touched by the realm of the Chaos Gods. The Imperium has crossed the portal to a land similar of old Terra.

The Imperium Of Man, a transgalatic-spanning empire that has conquered, destroyed, and withstood against enemies of such unimaginable power that would make lesser beings cower in fear. The Imperium was born in war, it lived through it, and survived its crucible. Now it's in time of peace or as some would have you believe, but how can there be peace when the enemies of man still draw breath? Indeed as an illustrious shepherd of mankind, your task is to protect, reclaim, annihilate, obliterate, and so on. There are other galaxies, waiting to be brought into the fold of the Imperium and enemies that require the Emperor's Wrath!!!!! Such a dauntless task falls upon you (F/N or "Mikazuki", "Mika", "Barbatos") an Adeptus Custodes, but you are not alone. You will be with your cousins/battle-brothers each one has fought alongside you for hundreds if not thousands of years and they would prove instrumental in the coming days. A great evil is at work on a planet in another galaxy far away it will be the first foothold and first contact with human inhabitants of this particular galaxy. Should you fail, an entire human world would be doomed to the malignant powers calling themselves "Gods" and their disgusting slaves. Such consequences should not be trifled with after all "What is the terror of death?" "To die knowing our task incomplete." "What is the joy of life?" "To die knowing our task done." Your task is simple to find the "Maidens", "Knights", allies and guide them to their destiny. To help them against the encroaching darkness. Good luck and remember. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!!!!!!!!!

Guilliman leads the forces of humanity in a desperate struggle for survival and liberated worlds after worlds, alas not every corner of the galaxy could be saved. The Lamenters chapter, what few remained that is, desperately evacuated what they can on an isolated sector known as Cadere. On the face of certain annihilation, a strike force from one of the legendary founding chapters, the imperial Fist, complimented with the aid of adeptus custodes manages to reach the isolated chapter. Saving what they can, the fleeing imperial forces gambled everything they have and escaped through a warp storm. As if the Emperor wills it, the imperial armada miraculously survives. Though they arrived into a galaxy they know nothing of.
