Adjusting Stories

Elena Roberts is the mayor of Elda's daughter. Elda is a small village in the country of Wilonia ruled by the Mason family. Since Elena's father is close friends with the Masons, Elena receives some shocking news - she is supposed to marry the prince of Wilonia! Once she leaves her family she learns a shocking secret about the Mason family - they may not just be human royalty... (Originally on Quizilla, but since it was requested for a sequel I am posting the original here and in a few weeks the sequel to come with it.)

Jack, a scientist, who wanted to prove that 'time traveling' is real, created a machine that can do just that. When he tried to use it, instead of traveling time, he traveled through space and he ended up in a familiar but different land. Due to scientific logic and space travel, as parallel universes work, he finds himself stuck in this land while his alleged double, makes his life miserable in his real home. Will he ever find a way back to his own home, back to his own dimension? And will he ever adjust to the extremes of people in his new world? This story was inspired by The Martian by Andy Weir, the Parallel Universe Theory, and Astronomy logic. This is also my first time to write a first-person book. Some things told in the story are fiction and are used to make the story more understandable.

Lyla is just like all the others, but can she be the difference and win the Chase? First she must change, and adapt, something she's never had to do.

Charlie Wyatt came from the small town of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Her family was known for their outstanding herd of Black Angus beef cattle and her rodeo skills. When a round bale of hay fell on her Dad in the hay mow, Charlie's life took a dramatic change. The best rehab clinic in the country was in Toronto, so it meant a major life change. Her family reluctantly sold their herd, and farm and made the move across the country. The costs of houses in Toronto were beyond high, but the Wyatt family had no choice. Mr. Wyatt couldn't stand living in an apartment, so a house was bought in a place called Oshawa. Charlie had to leave everything about her former life behind, and start over, which wasn't easy. At High School she met two very different friends who were not in the cool club. Lana who called herself a ''Militant Black Girl'' and Jake, a very intelligent but introverted guy. Charlie would have to work her way through a new school, new rules, and a different way of life. Something not easy to navigate while worrying about her Dad on a daily basis.

In the world where 80% of the population are those with powers called quirk and are now considered to be the norm. But not everyone can be as happy as they can be with those whose quirks are considered villainous or having any at all. One unlucky child is Denji... In order to keep her trauma from affecting her loved ones, she does her best to block them out and keep her emotions to herself. Staying hidden in the shadows as much as possible, though her abnormal Magni makes that a challenge. With the start of a new Semester marking her first official classes within the Enclave, what will change for her?
