Morgan Truman has had a rough life, her father a deadbeat alcoholic and her mother an estranged drug addict. She's been in and out of foster homes, all of which have treated her poorly. That is until her life turns upside down, when Panic! frontman Brendon Urie comes in and changes her life.

Lillie Ruga has spent all 13 years of her life in Los Angeles. She has attended the same school and lived in the same area. But, that all unexpectedly changes when her parents suddenly die and she is left orphaned. Lillie goes to live at a foster home with a dozen other children living in horrendous conditions.
