Demi Lovato is one of those Disney stars that grew up with it then became a world famous singer, Skye on the other hand is eleven and she has never had a nice childhood her parents weren't fit to look after her...all they really did was abuse her. Skye loves to dance and write stories...but when Demi comes to the carehome she see's much more talent in Skye and soon adopts her.

Hi, I'm Ashley; or at least, that's the name I go by now... You see, my past is quite tricky, and hard to explain. I haven't trusted anyone enough to tell them in years. Like all people, I've had my ups and downs, mainly the latter, but it doesn't matter right now. So far I'm in Sunnynook Orphanage. The door slammed and I jumped alittle, squeezing my body farther into the laundry room hoping it was just my kids home from school. "Hello?" I called out again as all sounds in the house came to a hush. I shook it off thinking I just heard things. I hummed chewing on my nails. Suddenly the door creaked open and a hand shot out, catch my wrist. I couldn't breathe, no words came out as I slowly turned towards the door, I turned slowly,my wrist was set free and a mask was left balancing on the corner of the washer. The initials B.S were carved into the back of the mask, I flipped it over jumping a little when I found it painted solid red with too black tiny holes that were used to see out of poked into the mask. I was suddenly snapped out of my trans when I heard a baby cry, that's when it hit me. I forgot Emily was home.
